BuyBuy Baby, Harmon stores to reopen in several N.J. towns

Two of Bed Bath and Beyond’s former subsidiaries are set to reemerge.

BuyBuy Baby and Harmon Face Values stores are making a comeback, according to CNBC.

Dream On Me Inc., the group that acquired BuyBuy Baby’s intellectual rights earlier this year, plans to open 100 to 120 stores over the next three years.

The process will begin with 11 BuyBuy Baby openings throughout the Northeast as soon as this fall. Exact opening dates have yet to be announced.

Four of those spots will be in New Jersey, located in Bridgewater, Cherry Hill, Paramus and Woodbridge.

Other stores are in Delaware, Connecticut, Maryland, New York and Virginia.

Jonah Raskas, the investor who acquired Harmon’s intellectual property, plans to reopen five Harmon locations in New Jersey and New York.

The spots are anticipated to open this year, although exact dates haven’t been determined.

Bed Bath & Beyond filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in April. Overstock.com recently acquired the bankrupt retailer’s assets and relaunched its own website as BedBathandBeyond.com.
